Homemade Cakes and Muffins in Bangalore….

sinfulindulgence

what does it take to print piece of paper and send it around?? lots of courage and double the optimism and hope……Allow me to tell you a a story…

i have this friend…J…. fiesty…go getter…hardworking…and currently a SAHM….she’s come far from where she started….she’s one of those people you look at and know she’ll get the job done….she has dreams and aspirations… maybe not about building a fortune 500 firm, but realistic ones…inspired by successes around her…. to do something interesting and satisfying…. that’s all…..then why J and blues in the same line?

she’s been on a roller coaster these past few months…. trying to figure out how she can do something productive with her time and yet be a sahm…..Something that gives one a sense of fulfillment …..See, the thing with being financially independent from a young age is, even if you are in a secure relationship, you cant be “dependent” (for want of a better word) it pricks…and doesnt ever leave your head….

we’ve spent a lot of airtime talking….i am a couple of years ahead of her in this “joblessness” business… so i think we relate well with each other and i know what she’s going through…..we share what we’re feeling….and mostly laugh at how silly we’re being ….. when she tells me…she has many plans but doesnt know where to begin….its dejavu for me…..and viceversa…..

after many months, J has taken a huge step forward…. she’s launched a home venture….she’s a talented baker…so why not put that to use… She’s making her hobby and passion into a home based business. Homemade Cakes and Muffins from the oven of Sinful Indulgence

i know its a huge step for her…. i know how much its taken for her to actually print out those pamphlets and make a start…. we’re all so afraid of failing….of looking like a fool when we fall….so despite all the starting blues you had… you did it babe….this was the most important step.

So ladies and gentlemen, if you are looking for homemade cakes and muffins in Bangalore, please call J on 09611102160, or dash her a few lines on jayashree(dot)mudaliar(at)gmail(dot)com. you will surely be completely dazzled by the array of goodies she has to offer…….

  5. hey Arundhati…
thanks so much for stopping by on What’s Cooking. :) i COMPLETELY agree to daal being comfort food…but people here in ozland find the idea of a pressure cooker funny… they dont get the energy efficiency idea and then go crying about carbon emissions. weird.

  6. First off, hats off to you girls and good luck to J on the new venture. Been in that stage before and i know how exactly you feel. i mean being “dependant” inspite on the secure relationship.
So this step is a huge one and that which requires lots of courage. i will surely notify my friends and family in Bangalore and hopefully she gets lots of customers.

  9. Good for her! Staying home taking care of kids is a HUGE job too, anything else is a bonus. Glad she started another job which makes her happier. All the best to her.

I love that icing and the beads on top she did. Why is the middle is not covered by icing? Looks better if it’s completely covered! :)
